Every year, we select high school seniors from under-served communities around Oregon to attend a 10-day intensive art education workshop in Yamhill County. These workshops are led by expert art instructors from around the country.
WALLOW Foundation funds 100% of the costs and focuses on students who show great promise in the arts, but lack financial means.
Inspired by Lynn Powers’ love of the community derived from the many art work-shops she attended and founded, we focus on not only teaching our students a foundation of artistic skill they can take with them into their future education, but also the importance of working collaboratively with their fellow artists.
